Plot
After escaping his dad's house and living in Tamara's, Call and his friends return to the magisterium, the school of magic. There they learn that a copper gauntlet called the "Alkahest" has been stolen and Call's dad had went missing. Call, Aaron, Tamara and Jasper (who caught them in the act) decide to escape the magististerium and look for Call's dad. They experience many strange and dangerous magic such as, someone sending a metal monster named "Automotones" after them, their masters almost catching them and more.
